Høly River je duo tvořící hudbu, kterou sami nazývají „earth folk“ – žánr zakořeněný v úctě k přírodě a věnovaný tématům spirituality, lidské zkušenosti a našeho vztahu k okolnímu světu. Bohaté melodie harmonia, podmanivé vokály a inspirace hudbou z různých koutů světa vytvářejí éterickou zvukovou krajinu, kterou Høly River společně utváří.
Jejich tvorba je mysticky politická, hluboce komunitní a zcela nezávislá. Hrají na velkých festivalech i u táborových ohňů záměrně budovaných komunit po celém světě.

Høly River is a duo crafting a genre they call “earth folk”, rooted in environmental reverence and focusing on themes of nature, spirituality and the human experience. Harmonium-rich melodies, soaring vocals and worldly instrumentation create the ethereal pop soundscape Høly River weaves together.
Mystically political and wholeheartedly grassroots, this DIY band finds themselves playing on large festival stages as well as around backyard fire pits in intentional communities around the world.
When home in Richmond, Virginia, band members Laney Sullivan and Jameson Price are known as activists, artists and community organizers, running art spaces, a weekly food pantry, and a community garden, while also helping organize festivals across the region.
