The Arctic Hideaway and AFN Animation Festival Network invite you to an extraordinary three-week artistic residency in the remote Arctic landscape of Fleinvær, Northern Norway, taking place from May 7 to May 28, 2027.
Set above the Arctic Circle, this residency offers a rare space for deep focus and artistic exploration. Five artists from AFN member countries will come together to experiment with new forms of animation, emerging technologies, and creative approaches inspired by the surrounding natural environment. Whether you work with interactive experiences, AR, VR, immersive storytelling, or other innovative forms, this is your chance to push the boundaries of the medium.
The selected artists will enjoy:
