Please welcome another ensemble to the Musica Orbis stage: Guitares & Co !! 👐

Guitares & Co is a group of 18 passionate young classical guitarists under the direction of Frédérick Maggio, guitarist and classical guitar teacher.

Founded in 2011, the orchestra has thrived thanks to the diversity of its repertoire and its numerous projects (participation in several festivals, opening for Thibault Cauvin, Raphaël Feuillâtre, Sangitananda, and Antoine Boyer, and international tours every year). Several composers have written for this ensemble: Luc Levesque, Laurent Ménéret, and Guy-Jean Maggio. All these projects renew the interest and enthusiasm of its members and make this orchestra a true little family that evolves with the times.

We’re happy to welcome him back to our jury for the 2026 festival. As part of our Day with a Jury Member series, we chatted about Prague, musical inspirations, unforgettable memories, and the people who helped shape her artistic journey.

Looking forward to another wonderful festival together! ✨

We are thrilled to announce another choir joining this year's Musica Orbis - Lasteekraani Muusikastuudio !! ✨🎶

As of autumn 2025, the Estonian Television Children’s Choir consists of 56 children aged 11–15. Most of them, in addition to their singing and dance lessons at the Estonian Television Music Studio (Lasteekraani Muusikastuudio), also study at music schools or in specialized music classes. Many choir members began their studies at the studio as early as the age of three or four. The choir’s repertoire is highly diverse, encompassing classical choral music as well as jazz, folk, and pop genres. The choir’s performances are further enhanced by engaging choreographic arrangements.

The Estonian Television Children’s Choir began operating in its current form in August 2006 (originally as the ETV Children’s Choir for Younger Singers – ETV Mudilaskoor). Their first major appearance was as the backing choir for Laulukarussell 2006 on Estonian Television. The choir’s first domestic competition was the 4th Estonian National Children’s Choir Competition-Festival in May 2008, and its first international competition was the Festival of Songs Olomouc 2008 in the Czech Republic in June 2008. Throughout its years of activity, the choir has successfully participated in numerous competitions and festivals, while each season includes a wide range of performances, recordings, and special projects.

We are thrilled to announce the first orchestra joining this year's Musica Orbis, the award winning Orkestra e Fëmijëve dhe të Rinjve "Amadeus" ! 👏👏

The Children and Youth Orchestra “Amadeus” was founded on the initiative of the “Amadeus” Music School, an institution that has been operating since 2002 as the first non-public music school in Kosova. The orchestra’s activity initially began in 2015 with a smaller number of students from this school, and over the years it has developed into one of the most serious youth musical ensembles in the country and the region.

Under the leadership of Director Hana Petrovci and Conductor Vehbi Shosholli, the orchestra was created with the mission of uniting young musical talents age 10-17 years old, promoting artistic education, ensemble performance, and the professional development of young instrumentalists. Initially consisting of students from music schools in Prishtina, the orchestra has continuously expanded to include children and youth from various cities across Kosova and the region, such as Gjilan, Gjakova, Ferizaj (Kosova), Tirana, Durrës (Albania), and Skopje (North Macedonia). This artistic and cultural union has given the orchestra a broader dimension, transforming it into an important platform for cooperation and Albanian cultural representation on the international stage.

Since its official establishment in 2022, the “Amadeus” Orchestra has performed dozens of gala concerts, ceremonial appearances, and participated in prestigious festivals both in Kosova and abroad, supported by state and municipal institutions, embassies, as well as numerous business and cultural organizations.
