The Miriam College High School Glee Club has brought pride to the Philippines after winning two Gold Awards and the Excellence in Choral Sound Special Award at the Musica Orbis Prague Festival in the Czech Republic.

Under the direction of conductor Nancy Roman, the choir achieved:
• Gold Award – Unrestricted Category
• Gold Award – Sacred Repertoire Category
• Excellence in Choral Sound Special Award

The talented students were the only choir representing both the Philippines and Asia at the international festival, where they performed alongside choirs from Estonia, Germany, Belgium, Lithuania, and the United Kingdom.

As part of their cultural showcase, they proudly performed the beloved Filipino children’s song “Pen Pen De Sarapen,” sharing a piece of Philippine culture with audiences from around the world.

Congratulations to the Miriam College High School Glee Club for this outstanding achievement and for representing the Philippines with excellence on the global stage!
