the divo institute probly presents Vít Bohal

Over the last decade, the xeno has appeared as a fundamental concept for many aesthetic and cultural projects – xenofeminism, xenopoetics, Xenoslavia, Xenotopias… The presentation aims to chart a trajectory for the xeno and identify some of its contemporary cultural significance. What are the politics of the alien, and how to account for the xeno’s ever accelerating drive towards the inhuman?

Vít Bohal is currently a PhD candidate at the Center for Critical and Cultural Theory at Charles University Prague. His dissertation focuses on Xenofeminism and he is working towards formulating a ‘critical xenology’ which analyzes the conception of xeno within an infrastructural analysis of otherness. His work focuses mainly on contemporary feminist theory, accelerationism, speculative realism, post-digitality and philosophy of technology. He is member of the Prague-based Diffractions Collective.

Děkujeme všem zúčastněným za úžasný večírek:) zároveň bychom vás chtěli pozvat na právě probíhající tématikou after patry s názvem úklid:) jsou tu dobrovolníci s kterými se můžeme podělit o temné stránky dada večírků? Grilování a drinky zdarma:)

Přátelé, známí i neznámí,

Piknik je již zítra, ale počasí nám moc nepřeje. Doufejme, že bude hezky svítit slunko, ale pokud nám naše kolektivní karma slunce nedopřeje, máme zázemí kouzelné čtyř patrové vily, kde zůstaneme v suchu:)

Lehké občerstvení bude zajištěno společně s těžce vybavenými bary!

pokud si chcete přinést svoje jídlo na piknik, budeme jedině rádi (a ještě raději pokud ochutnáme:))

Piknik začne v 14:00, k tanci a poslechu nám budou hrát příjemné, různorodé a občas i různodivné tóny od známých i neznámých kapel a budoucích i současných zasloužilých umělců.

Taktéž doporučujeme navštívit doprovodný program jehož součástí bude například promítání speciálního projekčního zařízení "Kouzelná skříňka". Jde o jedinečnou světelno-zvukovou masáž smyslů.
