Pre tých, ktorých fascinuje biografia tela, pohyb ako cesta premeny a tvorivá sila mnohosti.

Rituál vtelený do bytosti, ktorá sa neustále premieňa — surovo grotesknej entity pohybujúcej sa medzi svetlom a temnotou, medzi abjekciou a krásou, medzi pokožkou a zakázanými svetmi ukrytými pod ňou.

Meditácia pohybom. Monštruózne telo. Stretnutie tvorivej sily s procesom liečenia — cez jemnosť, napätie a to, čo ešte nedokážeme pomenovať.

For those drawn to the biography of the body, to movement as a practice of transformation, and to the generative force of multiplicity.

A ritual embodied by a creature in constant becoming — a raw and grotesque being navigating the spaces between light and shadow, abjection and beauty, the skin and the forbidden worlds beneath it.

A meditation through movement. A q***r shapeshifting. A monstrous body.

A choreographic playground where creative force meets healing — through softness, tension, and what we have not yet been able to name.

Tesne nad povrchom zeme sa formuje kruh tiel - svedkov sólovej performancie, ktorá vrhá svetlo na skryté časti reality, pochované v hlbinách tela mileniála. Výprava za deštrukciou, limitmi a extrémami, rovnako príležitosť nechať preniknúť nové a staré tvary a formy do kože, svalov, kostí a duše.
Rozpráva o úsilí a túžbe zostať vyrovnanou uprostred krízy. Pohyb, ktorý je radikálny, zmyselný, surrealistický a vibruje naprieč novým divokým životom.

On Friday May 12th Eva had a chance to share her movement research with the participants of the workshop titled BODY ZERO in DANCE RESIDENCIES CENTRE TELOCVIČŇA. We could see more ANOMALIES being born/revealed/created on that day :)

BODY ZERO is the result of the choreographic research, which involved using movement meditations to create and explore various body images (also called as bodies), analyse their forms, and then change them using muscle tension, rhythm, and attention shifts to different parts of the body. In the early stages of the research, Eva concentrated on constructing these bodies using emotions and imagination, and in the later stages, she combined elements of various chosen bodies to produce wholly original and surreal forms.

Under the surface of the earth, a circle of bodies gathers to witness a solo performance which aims to bring light to the hidden parts of reality, one buried in the depths of a millennial body. Throughout this quest, one finds destruction, limits and extremities, opportunities for new and old forms appearing within the skin, muscles, skeleton and the spirit.

Anomalie is a dance which challenges the comfort zone of its participants. It is a show about effort, about yearning to stand up while being destroyed and hope for alignment in the midst of crisis.

The dance performance Anomalie is the first work by the body2022 group, led by choreographer and dancer Eva Urbanová. Body2022 deals with the human body today, its changeability and its relationships with the environment it inhabits.
