ART-IN-RES is a residency program supported by Nová síť. Most countries run online ‘guideposts’ which connect artists with host organisations.

We connect residency houses and programs across the Czech Republic, share open calls and opportunities, and support the development of the residency scene. ART-IN-RES is an online platform and program that facilitates information about arts residencies in performing arts in Czechia. The form of arts residencies has been for decades a key element in the production of art projects worldwide. Such resource has been missing in the Czech Republic. Therefore, in 2020 Nová síť created this online platform which should serve:

- artists in search of arts residencies
- host organisations to announce open calls
- as a resource for foreign artists and culture professionals who seek information about how cultural and artistic environments operate in the Czech Republic

The program is implemented by NGO Nova sit (www.novasit.cz) with the currently support of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, European Union and City of Prague.n
