𝙏𝙝𝙚́𝙧𝙚̀𝙨𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝙍𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 is an Irish artist and researcher working across photography and sculptural installation. Her practice critically engages with photographic archives, exploring how images shape human–animal–land relations. Characterised by visual restraint and a precise analogue approach, her work emphasises the materiality of traditional film.

In the workshop, together with Gabriella Achadinha, she will explore paratheory as a method for approaching archives through fragmentation and personal perspective, influenced by the teachings of Daniel Blanga Gubbay / . Participants will work with collage, text, scriptwriting, montage, and material experimentation. Drawing on the works Cure (2026) and Tar (2024), the workshop will focus on developing “para-narratives” that reconnect fragments of memory, research, and visual material beyond dominant narrative structures.

Introducing the upcoming exhibitors / Představujeme vystavující nadcházející výstavy ➫

𝙂𝙖𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝘼𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙝𝙖 / (b. 1990) is a South African-Madeiran artist working across video, photography, and installation, reading into immigration, cultural assimilation, and the gendered dynamics of neoliberalism . Her work draws on archival research and essayistic montage, exploring personal:structural memory and socio-political identity. She examines the tension between visibility and precarity, tracing how roles (IRL, URL) are performed, inherited, and negotiated over time.

🅒🅩 𝙂𝙖𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝘼𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙝𝙖 / (*1990) je jihoafricko-madeirská umělkyně pracující s videem, fotografií a instalací. Ve své tvorbě se zabývá tématy imigrace, kulturní asimilace a genderové dynamiky neoliberalismu. Její práce vychází z archivního výzkumu a esejistické montáže a zkoumá vztah mezi osobní a strukturální pamětí i sociálně-politickou identitou. Zaměřuje se na napětí mezi viditelností a prekérností a sleduje, jak jsou role (IRL, URL) vykonávány, děděny a v průběhu času vyjednávány.

Introducing the upcoming exhibitors / Představujeme vystavující nadcházející výstavy ➫

𝙈𝙖𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙝 𝙃𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙞'𝙨 practice moves between scenography, spatial installation, and visual storytelling. In her recent works, she explores the notion of lived experience merged with place, creating immersive environments that inhabit narratives through space, video, and material. Her work engages architecture as a medium of transition, examining how environments shape perception, memory, and emotional experience. Hoseini holds a Bachelor’s degree in Stage Design from the University of Tehran and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Fine Arts and Design at FFA BUT, Brno.

🅒🅩 Praxe 𝙈𝙖𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙝 𝙃𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙞 se pohybuje mezi scénografií, prostorovou instalací a vizuálním storytellingem. Ve svých aktuálních pracích zkoumá pojem prožívané zkušenosti propojené s místem a vytváří imerzivní prostředí, která prostřednictvím prostoru, videa a materiálu ztělesňují narativy. Její tvorba pracuje s architekturou jako médiem proměny a zkoumá, jak prostředí formují vnímání, paměť a emocionální zkušenost. Hoseini získala bakalářský titul v oboru scénografie na Teheránské univerzitě a v současnosti dokončuje magisterské studium výtvarných umění a designu na FaVU VUT v Brně.
