The Gypsywood Singers A students' choir from the Department of English and American Studies, Masaryk University

The Gypsywood Singers is a students' acapella choir at the Department of English and American Studies at Masaryk University. The choir was founded in 2015 and since then has been looking for new student singers for each new semester. We sing a variety of genres from English folk songs, sea chanties, Christmas carols to various hits of popular music. If you are a student at Masaryk University and would like to sing (no previous experience necessary), definitely let us know! :-)

The Gypsywood Singers are proud to publish photos from their last performance, which took place at the festival Creativity Night on 1st May 2019. For this semester we chose songs connected to the topic of sea, sailors and marine life :-).

Thank you very much to all the choir members for their hard work and to English Students' Club, z.s. for organizing the festival!
