𓀤𓀥 Ecology of Closeness × Sahej Rahal: Beyond the City of Time
Fyzická přítomnost, blízkost, propojení, dotek a jeho síla… Pražská výstava umělce Saheje Rahala se svými tématy v mnohém potkává s tvorbou kolektivu Alica Minar & col. Tyto dva světy se nyní skutečně prolínají díky doprovodnému programu Ecology of Closeness v Galerii Rudolfinum.
𓀤 Silná vizualita, v níž jdou narace a abstrakce ruku v ruce, je typická pro projekty slovenské choreografky a performerky Alici Minar a jejího týmu. Práci s tělem i schopností empatie si pod vedením Alici budete moci sami vyzkoušet v úterý 14. dubna na tanečním workshopu Ecology of Closeness: Practices of Empathy. Kůže se zde stane porézním rozhraním, kde se já setká s druhým. Co přijde, když překročíme hranici, jak můžeme takový proces obejmout? Přijďte to zjistit!
𓀤 Prostory výstavy Beyond the City of Time následující den ožijí performancí Ecology of Closeness, o jejíž choreografii se postarala Alica Minar. Ve středu 15. dubna se tanec v dialogu s Rahalovými fluidními biomy začne odvíjet jako síť vztahů v neustálé komunikaci mezi lidským a více-než-lidským, živým a neživým, přítomným a imaginárním. Staňte se tichými pozorovateli ve tmě.

Physical presence, closeness, connection, touch and its power… The exhibition by artist Sahej Rahal shares many thematic parallels with the work of the collective Alica Minar & col. These two worlds now truly intertwine thanks to the accompanying programme Ecology of Closeness at Galerie Rudolfinum.
𓀤 A strong visuality, in which narrative and abstraction go hand in hand, is characteristic of the projects by Slovak choreographer and performer Alica Minar and her team. Under Alica’s guidance, you will have the opportunity to try out working with your body and the capacity for empathy on Tuesday, April 14, at the dance workshop Ecology of Closeness: Practices of Empathy. Here, the skin becomes a porous threshold where self meets the other. What happens when the limit is challenged, what kind of embrace does this process entail? Come find out!
𓀤 The following day, the exhibition space of Beyond the City of Time will come alive with the performance Ecology of Closeness, choreographed by Alica Minar. On Wednesday, April 15, dance, in dialogue with Rahal’s morphing biomes, will evolve as a network of relations in constant communication between the human and more-than-human, animate and inanimate, present and imagined. Become silent observers in the dark.
