Nadační fond Moravská krása vznikl v listopadu 2020 s účelem podporovat tradice jižní Moravy a historii tohoto svébytného regionu tak, aby je převzaly za své i další generace a bohatý moravský folklor neupadl v zapomnění. Stejně jako vše křehké potřebuje naši péči – z toho důvodu chceme sbírat a ošetřovat předměty lidové kultury, které nám naši předkové zanechali. Křehká je rovněž dovednost lidový
ch umělců a řemeslníků – předává se z člověka na člověka. Proto usilujeme o to, aby se tato šikovnost neztrácela, ba naopak vzkvétala a posouvala se dál. Svou vášeň i koníček jsme se po letech soukromé činnosti rozhodli zaštítit oficiálně – chceme o moravské dědictví pečovat tak, abychom mohli pomáhat dalším organizacím a institucím. Náš zájem přerostl v aktivitu, kterou chceme přispět celé společnosti. Jak ostatním ukazujeme Moravskou krásu?
~ Dbáme o umění lidových maléreček, vyučujeme dovednosti malování ornamentu a šíříme lidový ornament nejen z Podluží.
~ Pečujeme o tradici lidového kroje.
~ Pořádáme foklorní výstavy, organizujeme výtvarné dílny a kurzy modrotisku, kde tyto tradiční techniky učíme a předáváme dál.
~ Tvoříme sbírkový fond lidové kultury.
~ Zviditelňujeme starodávná řemesla a zvyky našich předků a podporujeme osobnosti, které se jimi zabývají.
~ Prostřednictvím moderního umění a spoluprací s novodobými umělci propojujeme kulturní odkaz minulosti se současností, aby dál mohly žít a růst společně tady u nás v Česku i v zahraničí. Moravian Glory Foundation is an organization in Atlanta, Georgia which supports its sister foundation in the Czech Republic by project management assistance services in Czech American communities, and also with fundraising activities. We grew up in South Moravia, Czech Republic, and this beauty, strong in its tradition and yet fragile, is forever in us. Like everything fragile, it needs our care - that's why we want to collect and treat the items of folk culture that our ancestors left us. The skill of folk artists and craftsmen is also fragile - it is passed on from person to person. That is why we strive to ensure that this dexterity does not disappear, but rather flourishes and moves on. After years of private activities, we decided to make our passion and hobby official - we want to take care of the Moravian heritage so that we can help other organizations and institutions. Our interest has grown into an activity that we want to contribute to the whole society. How do we show Moravian beauty to others?
~ We take care of the art of folk paintings, we teach the skills of painting an ornament and we spread folk ornament not only from the Podluží region.
~ We look after the tradition of folk costumes.
~ We organize folklore exhibitions, art workshops, and blueprint courses, where we teach and pass on these traditional techniques.
~ We create a collection of folk culture.
~ We make the ancient crafts and customs of our ancestors visible and support the local craftsmen.
~ Through modern art and collaboration with modern artists, we connect the cultural legacy of the past with the present, so that they can continue to live and grow together here in the Czech Republic and abroad.
