🪞 STORY TIME: THE MIRROR PORTAL IN MY HOTEL ROOM

I swear, sometimes the universe has a sense of humour. 😂

Generally speaking, I do not like mirrors. They literally give me the heebie-jeebies.

Spiritually speaking, though, there are two things I absolutely do not like when it comes to mirrors: two mirrors facing each other and a mirror facing my bed while I'm sleeping.

So imagine me walking into my hotel room and within seconds saying, Why are there two mirrors facing each other, and why is that mirror facing my bed?!😲

The two mirrors facing each other created what is spiritually known as a mirror portal. A portal is essentially a doorway or threshold into another realm or dimension, so imagine how I felt looking into those mirrors and seeing what looked like another space opening behind them, about four mirrors deep. 🪞

And the mirror facing my bed? Absolutely not!!!

Obviously, I couldn't start dismantling the hotel, so every night before I went to sleep, my robe went straight over it. There was absolutely no way I was sleeping with that mirror facing me all night.

That doorway was CLOSED. 🪞

And yes, despite mirrors giving me the heebie-jeebies, I still took a picture. I think I was more shocked by the fact that the exact mirror arrangement I would normally avoid was sitting right there in my hotel room.

Recharging our energy, restoring balance 🤍

For three years, we’ve poured our hearts, love and energy into Aura’s Workshop. Now, we’re honouring our own need for stillness.
A little time to breathe, reconnect with ourselves and replenish the energy we share through everything we create.

Rest is sacred too. It gives us space to listen within, to feel grounded and to return with our hearts ready to give again.

Our Paralimni workshop will be closed from 1 to 9 September, reopening on Thursday 10 September.

These will be processed and shipped when we return.

It’s my birthmark, known as a Mallen streak, and it’s been part of me, my whole life.
