I have quite a reputation in the music business and commenced my professional DJ journey way back in 1977 working at Croydon’s Greyhound, Camden’s Music Machine (now KoKo), The Zig Zag Club and many more. Foxy Radio started as an independent radio show. As the show grew and became more popular it gained top Mix Cloud global chart positions and I had to recruit a team of helpers. In March 2020 Foxy
Radio then joined forces with Deal Radio meaning I now put together a weekly, 2-hour, pre-recorded show which goes out exclusively on www.DealRadio.co.uk on Sunday evenings at 6:00 – 8:00 PM. The show is repeated on Monday at 10PM - 12:00 and released on Mix Cloud on Tuesday, as well as being put onto the Foxyradio.com website and advertised on social media. A lot of hard work, research and dedication goes into each Foxy show and every show is different. Every week a guest is invited to talk to Foxy and play their music; if it’s an album only 4 tracks can be played from the same LP (Mixcloud legislation). During the current Covid 19 restrictions I interview my guests over the internet and my preference is to record using www.cleanfeed.net which uses Chrome browser. If this is not ideal for you I can also use mobile phones, Teams, FB chat, or What’s app. The average forty-five minute plus chat is pre-recorded, edited and the tracks inserted. Former Foxy Radio guests have included Rat Scabies, Brian James, Vic Godard, Paul Gray, Neal X, Wayne Barrett, Alvin Gibbs, TV Smith, Chris Constantinou, Chrissy Boy Foreman, Fay Fife, Charlie Harper, Pete Coyne, Sami Yaffa, Steve Conte, JC Carroll, Killing Joke, Glen Matlock, Wendy James, Arthur Brown, Rusty Egan, Maggie Dunne from Fuzz box, and Kirk Brandon. Guests on the show are subject to the approval of Deal Radio who stipulate that nothing too controversial or extremely political is aired (there is an explicit language warning given before every show).
