Kammari Limassol is no more. We had to shut down in the end of 2020 because of Covid and general lack of interest in the space. Thank you to everyone that participated! This page will continue, because we will continue in some other form in the future. Hasta la vista! Until next time!

Kammari Limassol has received a selection of some of the best independent music from Finland to our humble record collection. They can be listened to at the bar. Huge thank you to the indie labels Jukan Musiikki & Helmi Levyt for making it possible and of course all the excellent artists that keep us sane and rocking (they are mentioned in the pictures).

Good news! Kammari Limassol found enough people to continue! It will be a studio and rehearsal space for a choreographer, filmmaker, photographer, dancer and musician. We will also do a support gig in June. TBA.

And we even got a record donation today! Thanks to Copper Lemon. The improvement was huge to our record collection of loads of Hungarian pop and one Cheap Trick record playing over and over.

Deep bow and huge thank you for everyone that shared the posts and helped in anyway to find a way to continue! You shall be rewarded.

We are still looking for people to share the Kammari Limassol working space and studio. If we don't find two or three new members by June, we will be facing an inevitable closure. So please let people know who could be interested in having a work space or a studio for music, performance etc. Info in the post below.

KAMMARI LIMASSOL IS LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS! Musicians, artists, writers and performers who need rehearsal or work space. There are now also two private work spaces free.

One is a separate room for a private work space or band rehearsal room with a lockable door (150 Euros/month). Another is a work space at the back of the big collective space (100 Euros/month) - see photos. And the collective rehearsal space for rehearsals (75 Euros/month/person).

All members can organise their own events, concerts and performances in the space.

At the moment we are four people: a choreographer, a dancer, a theatre maker and a musician. Please send PM or SMS: 977 128 58 (Zakarias)

Kammari Residency in the mountains of Cyprus has a new website and open call for artists!

Kammari Residency has a new website and an open call for artists, performers, musician and researchers for 2020!

"Kammari Residency provides a rural and ecologically sustainable environment for artistic and research work. Situated in a remote mountain area in Cyprus, the residency provides a possibility for withdrawal to simple village life in a traditional stone house. As such, it enables full concentration on creative work."
