In partnership with “Ένα Φεστιβάλ στη Σαμοθράκη ’’ (Greece) and “Mime in Motion’’ (France) (), Buffer Fringe Performing Arts presents: ‘Floating' a work-in-progress by Art Vouveau.

Project Description:
Art Vouveau's 'Floating' explores the bond between humans and nature trough water. Combining physical theatre and visual art, the narrative blends reality, fiction, and symbolism. Funded by the European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists - EFFEA , Floating is a work in progress that will be developed during three residencies A Festival in Samothrace (Greece), Buffer Fringe Festival (Nicosia), and M.I.M. Festival (Montpellier).

🚣‍♀️Το FLOATING άφησε τη Σαμοθράκη ,τον πρώτο του σταθμό
και τόπο δημιουργίας του και συνεχίζει το ταξίδι του!!!

🙏Ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ σε όλα τα άτομα του Ένα Φεστιβάλ στη Σαμοθράκη
και ειδικά στην Βένια Σταματιάδη & στην Ελένη Αποστολοπούλου για την
πρόσκληση , την πίστη και την υποστήριξη που μας έδειξαν.
🙏Τα άτομα του WORKSHOP για την διαθεσιμότητά τους.
🙏Τον κόσμο της Σαμοθράκης για την θερμή αποδοχή της παράστασής μας.
🙏Και φυσικά τον τόπο Σαμοθράκη : τα νερά της, τα φαράγγια της , τις πέτρες
της, τα σύννεφά της , τα πλατάνια της , τα κατσίκια της... Για τη φιλοξενία της

🚀 Discover the Residency: 𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆

FLOATING is the new performance of Art Vouveau’s theatre group. It is an original silent work that will result from a collaboration among 𝘈 𝘍𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘭 𝘪𝘯 𝘚𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦 (Greece), Buffer Fringe Performing Arts (Cyprus) and 𝘔.𝘐.𝘔. 𝘍𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘭 (Platform 88, France). The performance is inspired by true stories of people who live in secluded arias. Art Vouveau will work on the issues of rural life, loneliness, nature and climate risks. FLOATING will be constructed of performing material composed purely during the festival’s three residency programs. As a result, stories of people from three different countries who experience isolation will interconnect and find their way into the final silent performance.

So many happy faces 😃 This was the EFFEA Intake Seminar: More than 100 emerging artists and festivals selected to benefit from one the EFFEA grants took part in this 2-day inspiring moment on 16 & 17 February.
