The idea of Cyprus Chamber Orchestra (CCO) was developed by Cypriot musicians Natalie Neophytou(oboe) and Nihat Agdac(violin) in London, where both were studying at the prestigious music institutes Royal Academy of Music & Guildhall School of Music and Drama. A proud receipent of the "Stelios Cyprus Bicommunal Award" CCO aims for the highest level of music making in Cyprus by both Turkish and Gree

k Cypriot musicians. The orchestra has no conductor, which allows the musicians working as close as possible to each other for the sake of the ensemble, music and of course, partnership! CCO is hoping to perform all around the island as well as in Europe and overseas, promoting peace in Cyprus with the best thing in life: Music. Cyprus Chamber Orchestra is a non-profit organisation.

An unforgettable evening in Bratislava at Moyzes Hall, where musicians of the Cyprus Chamber Orchestra presented “Chronoplous” as part of the cultural programme of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU.

A wonderful audience, a beautiful atmosphere, and a concert that exceeded all expectations. Proud to share Cypriot culture through music in the heart of Europe. 🇪🇺

CCO goes to Slovakia 🇸🇰

Members of the Cyprus Chamber Orchestra will take the stage as part of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026, sharing our island’s musical voice with Europe and beyond.

On 17th of December 2018, we had the pleasure of making music with two fantastic musicians from the , violinist Marlene Ito and violist Martin Von der Nahmer. Here are a few snapshots and videos from our rehearsals and concert on 16th and 17th of December 2018!

Cyprus Chamber Orchestra, the first bi-communal classical music orchestra in Cyprus continues to bring musicians together from across the island, engages in projects with young musicians, commissions works from Cypriot composers in multidisciplinary styles as well as collaborates with local and international artists.
