We are delighted to announce that MY DEAR ELEKTRA a performance by Arianna Economou with Giorgos Bizios is traveling to London at the HELLENIC CENTRE.
The performance is taking place at the Hellenic Centre on the Saturday 14th of JUNE at 7 pm on the occasion of the ITHELL COLQUHOUN's retrospective at TATE BRITAIN.

Echo Arts are happy to announce that MY DEAR ELEKTRA after its successful presentation House of Culture in ATHENS, will be presented in London, on June 14th at the Hellenic Centre, on the on the occasion of ITHELL COLQUHOUN's Retrospective on 12 June 2025 at the TATE BRITAIN .
MY DEAR ELEKTRA is a homage performance to artist Ithell Colquhoun who visited Cyprus in 1951 to see her friend and fellow artist from her days at the Slade School of Art, Elektra Megaw. Here Performance artist AArianna Economoucontinues her lifelong research on mysticism and the art of prehistory

The dance field in Europe is facing a new wave of underfunding.

This post is a reminder that dance is an innovative field. It's developing fast, has a growing audience, and a dynamic, diversified, and internationalized artistic environment.

Dance requires better recognition in cultural policy for improved continuity, which comes with dedicated and adequately funded infrastructure.
