Tο Φεστιβάλ Νέας Μουσικής δημιουργήθηκε με σκοπό τη διάδοση της σύγχρονης λόγιας μουσικής στην Κύπρο. Για σειρά ετών λειτουργεί ως όχημα για την ανάδειξη του έργου των Κυπρίων συνθετών, παρουσιάζοντας διαφορετικές τάσεις της μουσικής δημιουργίας του σήμερα. Φιλοξενώντας συναυλίες με διακεκριμένους μουσικούς και ανοιχτές συζητήσεις με τους ίδιους τους συνθέτες δίνει τη δυνατότητα στο κυπριακό κοινό

να έρθει πιο κοντά με τη σύγχρονη μουσική και τους δημιουργούς της.

Cyprus New Music Festival has the mission of contributing to the diffusion of contemporary classical music in Cyprus. Since its establishment in 2011, the festival acts as a vehicle for promoting the work of Cypriot composers, presenting the various trends of today’s contemporary music creation. Hosting concerts with well-established musicians and talk sessions with the composers themselves, it allows the local audiences to connect with contemporary music and its creators.
