Michael Owen arrived in Cyprus 1971 and opened his gallery in Lania in 1973. He is known principally for his Cyprus landscapes in oil and watercolours. He has original paintings in private collections in 56 countries as well as the National Gallery of Cyprus, the Cyprus Parliament, the Cyprus Presidential Palace and the Limassol Municipal Art Gallery. He died in 2024.
