is the Cyprus AeroPress Champion 24 and he will travel to Lisbon this September claiming the World Champion title 😎✈️🇵🇹☕️🏆 Roman’s path to victory was unbelievable: First Round he competed in the most challenging group against two former Cyprus AeroPress Champions (2023 & 2021) whilst in the Final round he competed against the 3rd Cyprus Champion 2023 👀 If you know Roman you aren’t surprised since you know he is dedicated to coffee and he fills us with hopes for a trophy from Lisbon!!!

The Cyprus AeroPress Champion 2024 will travel this September to Lisbon to brew coffee next to other 50+ national champions! See you on Friday 7th 15.00 at Wagmi! Until 17.00 competitors will brew warm up coffee, battle at latte art throwdown and at 17.30 we go non stop to find the champion!

Narden will be in our judging panel for the second time, pointing the Champion who will go to Lisbon! Narden is a CQI licenced Q grader as well as a sensory judge. She judged at the 2023 SCA Switzerland Brewers, Barista competitions and has recently judged at 2023 Turkey Barista Championships. Narden is the founder of Rest Coffees in Cyprus where they import and roast their own coffees including some competition coffees.

Amy Emerson will be for second time in our judging panel making sure the greatest coffees will advance! Amy has been working in coffee for 15 years. In 2020, she started a project, Tesifa Coffee, as a combination of her training as a social worker and being a licensed AST in Brewers and Barista Skills. Tesifa works with NGO projects using coffee to reach communities and helps bring them into the specialty coffee world.

Our visiting sensory Judge is coming from Berlin and its well known coffee Five Elephant. Growing up in Massachusetts, USA, Kris’ love for coffee started in the mid-1990s while attending the University of Massachusetts and Hampshire College, drinking Scott Rao batch brews by the liter.
After a career in feature film and advertising in New York City, Kris fell in love with Berlin and soon after moving there, co-founded the Berlin-based Five Elephant Coffee Roastery & Cake Shop in 2010 with his wife & partner Sophie. Kris has worked since 2010 as Co-CEO and Director of Coffee for the international brand. The founding core value of Five Elephant focuses on ethical and responsible business practices, creating meaningful value in coffee communities, and the direct sourcing of high-quality coffee. On the side, Kris is usually listening to 60’s jazz records and is forced to test new cakes from the company’s bakery.
