L’objectif: ne plus avoir peur dans la rue !
* goal: not being afraid in streets anymore ‼️
Such an important topic! The fact that women still need to be scared when they enter the streets, especially during evening/night time.
You think an “oh lala” is a compliment when seeing a girl passing by? Not at all:
The feeling of anxiety, when hearing steps behind you. The heart pounding when you see a suspect group of guys moving towards you. The finger trembling when you enter a tube station on your own. The need of walking fast, when you feel observed. The holding your phone tight when you sense danger. The feeling of release when you arrive to your final destination, safe and unharmed. And in this case you consider yourself as lucky..
Is this normal to you guys out there ? That women have to feel this way, when they just want to move from A to B just to enjoy a peaceful, normal evening?
It’s not normal, it’s horrible and this has to stop at some point.
If you’re a man reading this, please take care of women around you. Never allow a woman to go by herself home at night, text her whenever you know she’s alone, talk to your friends and brothers and tell them to be sensitive and respectful towards women.
It’s not easy to live like that and it’s not fair either 🙏🏻
