The APANAGE NIGHT – our private New Year’s gathering across several days in our maison, bringing together artists, curators, collectors, and culture connoisseurs to welcome the year ahead within a shared cultural home.
Spending these days together, it was profound to witness how rapidly a sense of trust and belonging takes shape when the right minds converge in the right space.
We shared a long dinner with Cypriot cuisine – and as they say, love goes through the stomach. One of the most powerful moments came when we all sat together and read our Secret Art Pal letters out loud.
Each guest had anonymously observed and written about another artist – what they admired about their presence, their artistic soul, their way of being in the world. Gratitude was exchanged openly, face to face.
Everyone also wrote a letter to themselves – a personal manifestation for the year ahead. These letters are sealed and will remain with us until we meet again and open them together next year.
This is the core of Apanage. We bring people together. We create a cultural home. We curate the meeting point of ambition and aesthetics, where creative conviction becomes the most valuable currency we possess.
Closing our foundation year – from our Berlin world premiere to Larnaca. We’re proud to share that Larnaca has been named European Capital of Culture 2030. And even prouder that we’ve carried this meaningful cultural frame for our artists.
