Souche’s practice builds scenes around what cannot be said out loud, psychological states that have no direct language, given a space precise enough to be witnessed.

The work constructs environments where the viewer’s own unspoken weight finds form. What remains is a scene that knows more about the viewer than the viewer expected.

At VOLTA Basel, we extended our curatorial framework by deliberately integrating two digital e-paper frames from into Christoph Pauschenwein’s solo presentation.

Through this integration, digital art gains a true, authentic physical presence. It ensures that digital works can be collected with absolute authenticity and permanence, seamlessly living within a space.

With a built-in authentication infrastructure, the artwork retains its true verification and originality when entering a collection. The e-paper medium provides a premium experience designed entirely around the artwork, not the device.

On a personal note, a huge compliment to the AELIG team for their exceptional dedication and shared vision in redefining the physical presence of digital art.

Apanage enters the Basel Art Week context with a solo presentation of Swiss artist Christoph Pauschenwein.

We look back at the core of our curation. For this edition of VOLTA Basel, we deliberately positioned the concept, In the Space Between, within Frische!—the fair’s curated sector for innovative and forward-thinking contemporary art.

His practice explores the line between nature and technology. Through this continuous dialogue, Pauschenwein brings digital art into the physical world using materials like aluminum, light, textiles, canvas and e-paper from . In this process, his art comes to life in an incomparable way, seamlessly merging both realms while questioning the boundaries of scale.

Apanage successfully concludes Basel Art Week.

Basel welcomed us beautifully, and we extend our sincere gratitude for an exceptional time. During Basel Art Week, Apanage exhibited Christoph Pauschenwein at VOLTA Basel.

The Swiss artist was presented within Frische!, VOLTA’s section with distinctive curatorial styles. By highlighting voices at the forefront of the contemporary art market, this curated space beautifully reflects the dedication with which Apanage represents its artists.

Apanage is pleased to announce it’s partnership with

A work does not conclude at the moment of acquisition.

It continues - held in a collection, seen across the ordinary hours of a day, framed by the rooms that keep it.

How a work is shown is part of how it is understood.

This partnership extends the Apanage curatorial standard into that stage: the display of the work itself, beyond the gallery and into the places where it remains.

For the Members Club, the path from creation to collection now passes through an infrastructure built to carry each work as it was meant to be seen.
