At the heart of PM AGORA there has always been one simple idea: EU Project Managers should not only implement European policies, they should also have a voice in shaping how those policies work in practice.

This is why one of the key sessions of PM AGORA 2026 will be:

“This is us: Shaping the future of EU project management | The journey so far, the open questions ahead, and your invitation to co-create”

This session will offer a first look into a new advocacy initiative that has been taking shape over the past year, with the contribution of more than 50 EU Project Managers from across Europe.

The conversation starts from a shared reality: thousands of professionals across Europe are responsible for turning EU programmes into real projects, partnerships, opportunities, and impact, yet their experience and perspective rarely become part of the institutional conversations that shape the programmes themselves.

At PM AGORA, this discussion matters deeply because it reflects the wider purpose behind the event: building a community that does not only exchange practices and experiences, but also gradually develops a stronger collective voice around the future of the profession.

The session will be facilitated by Konstantina Karameri and Marianella Parra, who will guide participants through the journey so far, the questions still open, and the invitation to take part in what comes next.

Changing the way we communicate European projects is not only about visibility.

It is about making the impact of EU projects more understandable, more accessible, and closer to people’s everyday lives.

That conversation was at the centre of “Road to Europa Project Week 2026” in Florence where Alessandro Carbone represented PM AGORA and shared more about the community and the ideas behind the initiative.

As PM AGORA, we strongly believe that behind every European project there are people, communities, ideas, and collaborations that deserve to be communicated in a more open and human way.

We’re starting to share the first sessions of PM AGORA 2026 👀

As part of Day 1, which this year focuses on capacity building and professional growth, Thomas Kösters (Managing Director at DEEP Ecosystems) will lead the session:

“Working Across Borders: The Role of Networks in the EU Funding and Innovation Landscape”

At a time when collaboration and international partnerships are becoming increasingly important in EU projects, this session will open a discussion around the role that networks and innovation ecosystems play in creating opportunities across Europe.

Tickets for PM AGORA 2026 are finally out.

It’s that time again.

We’ll start on 7 October with the Prelude, an informal evening to meet, reconnect, and ease into the days ahead. On 8 and 9 October, we continue with the main programme, where we’re taking things a step further this year, bringing together conversations around AI, funding, collaboration, community, and the way we work.

You can already get a first glimpse of the agenda on the website, and we’ll be sharing more of it in the coming weeks.
