Anber Onar’s exhibition catalogue “in case...” is composed of multilayered installations that explore the material and metaphorical dimensions of witnessing through contemporary art practices. Her exhibition is not merely a narrative directed at the viewer; it also creates an experiential space where memory, identity, and absence intertwine.
In their multiplication, the tied-folds evoke the repetition of images of consumer and cultural products in Pop Art. And her wrapping process evokes several moments in the history of art, from Man Ray’s sewing machine wrapped in a blanket (The Enigma of Isidore Ducasse, 1920, 1972), through Magritte’s painting of shrouded faces in The Lovers (1928), to the “wrappings” of objects, built structures and environmental features by Christo and Jeanne-Claude (1958-2020).3
These folded, tied, and decontextualised gar-ments, fabrics, and other materials speak in a language that both conceals and reveals personal and collective memory at once. With each “tied-fold,” Onar refolds not only the material, but also time, space, and the body.

In this captivating mixed-media installation titled Folded Horizons, artist Eser Keçeci projects a continuous video loop over a physically folded origami boat. The result is a shifting digital shadow that blurs the line between tangible object and illusion.

​The origami boat, traditionally associated with childhood play and fragile journeys, does not sail forward toward a destination. Instead, caught within the cyclical gravity of a video loop, its movement becomes an eternal return.
