CyHerbia Botanical Park & Labyrinth Cyherbia features 9 herb gardens, a maze, a woodland in the shape of Cyprus and a lavender meditation labyrinth. Under 5's free. of the island.

Entrance is 6 euros for adults and 4 euros for children. CyHerbia gardens and nature park is situated in the village of Avgorou, and includes 9 beautifully landscaped herb gardens, a lavender labyrinth for meditation walks, woodland area with the endemic trees and shrubs of Cyprus, and the first and only maze (2000 sq.m.) There is a herb shop with our own products and a tea room overlooking the gardens where you can relax with a healthy herbal drink. In the distillation room you can witness the fragrant process of essential oil extraction.

Breathe in the calming scent of lavender and discover the ancient art of natural incense making at our Incense Making Workshop.

Join us for a relaxing, hands-on experience where you'll create your own natural incense cones from scratch using lavender and other botanical ingredients
completely free from synthetic fragrances and chemicals.

Looking for a unique summer activity in Cyprus?

Join us at Cyherbia Botanical Park for a relaxing lavender experience that combines nature, creativity, and delicious treats.

Explore the herb gardens with a guided tour, discover how essential oils are distilled, create your own natural face and body soap with aloe vera, shea butter and essential oils, then enjoy coffee and homemade lavender cake.

Afterwards, wander through the lavender fields, take beautiful photographs, explore the woodland trails, and challenge yourself to find your way out of the maze.

🦋 Helping Swallowtail Butterflies Thrive at Cyherbia 🦋

Did you know that some of the Swallowtail butterflies you see in our gardens began their journey in our butterfly hatchery?

We carefully collect caterpillars from the fennel plants growing at Cyherbia and give them a safe place to grow, protected from predators such as birds and lizards. Over the next few weeks, they transform from caterpillar to chrysalis and finally emerge as beautiful butterflies.

Once ready, they are released back into nature to pollinate flowers, find a mate, and continue the cycle of life.

With pollinator populations declining worldwide, every butterfly matters. By helping a few caterpillars reach adulthood, we hope to contribute to the conservation of this wonderful species and inspire visitors to appreciate the small wonders of nature. 💚
