ABOUT US
We are OSHUN CLUB, a new nightclub in Mindelo, Cabo Verde, focused on creating a space for unique artists, diverse cultures, and open minds through Afro-electronic sounds and traditional rhythms like Funaná, Coladeira, Zouk and Kizomba. Our goal is to expand the scene with music beyond the mainstream and diverse cultural events. We create a club experience where every sense is engaged and music becomes something you can truly feel.
OUR NAME
OSHUN is a sacred spiritual figure in the traditions of Africa and the African diaspora. She embodies qualities such as connection, creativity, abundance, and the power of water. Our club is a non-religious space dedicated to music, art and diversity. We chose the name with respect for its original significance, without intending to represent or speak for these traditions.
A SAFE SPACE
Everyone is welcome at OSHUN CLUB. We are committed to creating a safe, respectful and accessible space where everyone can feel free to be themselves. Here, you can express yourself however you wish. There is no place for discrimination, sexism or racism. OSHUN CLUB is a space for pure joy and community.
