Hello Publix team,

I’m reaching out to share my appreciation for the excellent service I’ve consistently experienced at your stores, including the Coral Gables location #0084, where your associates have always been helpful and professional.

However, I’ve noticed a decline in the cleanliness and maintenance of the women’s restroom at this particular store over the past couple of years. Despite the overall great service, the state of the restroom has been disappointing and unacceptable.

I’ve attached photos and videos to illustrate the issue. I hope you’ll take immediate action to address this concern and restore the high standards I’ve come to expect from Publix.

Thank you for your attention to this matter and for providing a great shopping experience for your customers.

URGENT ACTION ALERT: Save Jonathan Muir (El Gallito de Morón)

To: Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), and International Media Outlets.

We are calling for immediate international intervention regarding the life-threatening detention of Jonathan Muir, a minor known as “El Gallito de Morón.”

Jonathan is currently being held by the Cuban regime in the Canaletas adult prison in Ciego de Ávila.

Recent photographic evidence released by his parents reveals a catastrophic physical deterioration, including severe, untreated skin lesions and signs of extreme malnutrition.

We demand the following actions:
1. Immediate Medical Inspection: We call on the International Red Cross or independent medical NGOs to be granted access to Canaletas prison to treat Jonathan Muir.
2. Immediate Release or Transfer: A minor should never be held in an adult facility, especially while suffering from visible, untreated medical complications.
3. Accountability: We urge the international community and media to hold the Cuban Ministry of Interior (MININT) responsible for Jonathan’s physical integrity.

Urgent Plea for Jonathan Muir (El Gallito de Morón)
The child Jonathan Muir, known as “El Gallito de Morón,” was found in alarming conditions while remaining imprisoned by the regime in the Canaletas prison, located in the province of Ciego de Ávila, Cuba.
Images that have begun to circulate show an evident physical deterioration and a state of health that, according to his relatives’ desperate reports, is sad, lamentable, and highly worrying.
According to his parents’ testimony, the minor is being held in a prison intended for adults, a situation that has generated deep indignation among the people.
The family asserts that Jonathan is not receiving adequate medical attention, despite presenting very serious and visible health complications.
Given the gravity of the case, his parents have made an urgent call to the international community, human rights organizations, and the media to request immediate intervention on his behalf.
They denounce that the minor’s life could be at risk if urgent measures are not taken in the short term to guarantee his protection, better medical care, and a transfer to an environment suitable for a child of his age and condition.
The parents are crying out for the support of the entire community. We can all help by SHARING this report from them.
