A very special record just came out. My dear friend, label mate, and fantastic musician/producer Skivvy Wu  has released a new album called "Odlazak" on the lovely Research Records .

The result is a highly unique blend of ambient, kraut, dub, post-punk, and everything in between - deeply tied to the personal story of his homeland.

I was thrilled when Ivan invited me to master and partially mix this record. I enjoyed every second of working on it, and I'm sure you will enjoy listening to it.

mastering a techno EP today. the goal is punchy and loud, but without sounding over-processed. subtle saturation in the mids helps keep the energy and presence. 4 different producers on this one, so the challenge is making everything feel cohesive in tone and intensity 🌿
