EXIT fondacija je deo tima EXIT festivala koji se bavi društvenim aktivizmom, razvojem mladih i promocijom mira. Šta je EXIT fondacija?

EXIT Foundation is part of EXIT team responsible for social activism, youth development and peace building. EXIT fondacija je deo tima EXIT festivala koji se bavi društvenim aktivizmom.

Čime se bavi EXIT fondacija? Koristeći snagu brenda EXIT, misija EXIT fondacije je da pozicionira sebe kao lidera u mobilisanju javnog mnjenja i donosioca odluka u oblasti razvoja mladih i promocije mira, kreativnih industrija, zaštite životne sredine i brendiranja destinacija. Zašto se EXIT fondacija bavi baš tim temama? Zato što su to temelji EXIT-a. EXIT je jedini festival na svetu te veličine i značaja koji je nastao društvenim aktivizmom mladih, koji su razvijajući festival kroz kreativne industrije (re)brendirali destinacije Novog Sada, Srbije i jugoistočne Evrope.

What is EXIT foundation? EXIT foundation is a part of the team of EXIT festival responsible for social activism. What does EXIT foundation do? Using the power of EXIT brand, the mission of EXIT Foundation is its own positioning as a leader in mobilisation of public opinion and decision makers in the areas of youth development and peace promotion, creative industries, environmental protection and destination branding. Why does EXIT foundation deal with such topics? These topics are the basis of EXIT. EXIT is the only festival in the world of that size and significance that was founded by social activism of young people who while developing the festival through creative industries have re-branded destinations of Novi Sad, Serbia and South-East Europe.

After two years of connecting emerging artists, festivals and audiences, the EU-supported GrassrEUts project has come to an end, leaving behind new opportunities, international performances and valuable connections across the music industry.

Through audience-driven selections, rising talents earned the opportunity to take their music beyond their home countries and perform at festivals including EXIT, Sea Star, Sziget, NOS Alive and Jazz à Carthage.

Among them were Serbia’s Luke Black, who took the stage at Sziget Festival in Hungary, and INNĒR SENSE, who brought their sound to Jazz à Carthage in Tunisia.

Beyond music, GrassrEUts championed sustainability, inclusion and cross-border cultural cooperation, while also supporting Ukrainian artists through the Music Saves Ukraine initiative.

A huge thank you to every artist, festival, partner and music fan who contributed to this journey. Together, we’ve helped new voices reach new audiences and opened doors for future collaborations. ❤️

Barcelona: THANK YOU.

To the ~20,000 people who vibrated with us for an hour as Emergency Exit came to life: your energy made it unforgettable. Deep gratitude to La Fura dels Baus, Satori and Eyesberg Studio for the breathtaking staging, and a special thank you to Barcelona Cultura for including us in La Mercè programe.
With this epic act we close our tour, but the movement stays in motion.

COLLECT. RECYCLE. GET INSPIRED. ♻️✨

Together, we proved that sustainability is an essential part of our festival experience! 🌊

As part of the INSPIRE The Change action at Sea Dance Festival, we achieved incredible green results:

🐚 Over 10,000 collected cans and PET bottles were sent for recycling under the banner “Every Can Counts”, with the help of our dedicated mobile teams and Solagro’s award-winning Smart Flex system!

👕 200 personalized t-shirts were handed out as unique festival souvenirs! Due to huge demand, the initial batch of 150 t-shirts was topped up with 50 more, with artist Đurađ Stevanović custom-painting each one on the spot with a unique eco-message.

🍏Visitors refreshed themselves with fresh fruit served at the INSPIRE Corner in cones made of bio-coated paper - an innovative solution for preventing plastic pollution developed as part of the European INSPIRE project.

This activation was implemented as part of the European INSPIRE project (funded by the EU Horizon program), under the umbrella of EXIT Foundation’s Green EXIT Adriatic platform, in collaboration with the ReCan Foundation’s “Every Can Counts” program and Solagro.

Zajedno smo pokazali da je održivost neizostavni dio našeg festivalskog iskustva! 🌊

U okviru akcije INSPIRE The Change na Sea Dance festivalu ostvarili smo sjajne zelene rezultate:

🐚 Preko 10.000 prikupljenih limenki i PET flašica usmereno je ka reciklaži uz poruku “Svaka limenka se računa”, angažovane mobilne timove i Smart Flex sistem kompanije Solagro!

👕 Podijeljeno je 200 personalizovanih majica kao unikatni suvenir! Zbog ogromne potražnje, početni kontingent od 150 majica dopunili smo za još 50, a svaku je na licu mjesta jedinstvenom ekološkom porukom oslikao umjetnik Đurađ Stevanović.

🍏 Posetioci su se osvežili voćem posluženim u INSPIRE Corneru u fišecima od biorazgradivog papira sa premazom - inovativnog rešenja za prevenciju plastičnog zagađenja nastalog u okviru evropskog projekta INSPIRE.

Hvala svima koji su reciklirali i sa nama čuvali obalu! 💚🌿

This Sea Dance, your empty cans and PET bottles get a second life - and you get a custom festival souvenir!

Find our mobile backpack teams across the venue, hand over your empty packaging, and receive your voucher tracking your count. When you collect 10 items of packaging, be among the first 50 each night to bring your voucher to the INSPIRE The Change Corner near the main entrance, where a spray artist will paint your chosen message on a t-shirt! 👕🎨

While you’re there, discover how the INSPIRE project is tackling plastic waste and test out innovative solutions like bio-coated paper alongside a healthy refreshment.

Implemented through Green EXIT Adriatic as part of the INSPIRE project, supported by Horizon Mission Ocean, in collaboration with Every Can Counts and Solagro.

Od 6. do 8. avgusta, Malomfesztivál u Oromu biće prva stanica EXIT Universe-a, putujućeg kulturnog haba EXIT Fondacije.

From 6–8 August, Malomfesztivál in Orom will mark the first stop of EXIT Universe, the traveling cultural hub created by the EXIT Foundation.

Walk through 25 years of EXIT history, discover its social impact, step onto the stage through an immersive VR experience, go backstage and explore the Best of EXIT and EXIT Energy Zone. 🎶

Music that moves, a movement that protects! ⚡️🌊

This is what circularity in action looked like with the REMEDIES project at this year’s Sea Star Festival! We joined forces on the dancefloor to replace single-use plastic with bio-based reusable cups, bringing circular solutions straight into the heart of the festival experience. 💚

Through “Plug-and-Play 2 Zero-Waste” system, thousands of cups were collected, washed, and reused right on-site under the Istrian sky. Every refill helped keep the lagoon crystal clear without missing a single beat! A huge thank you to all the festivalgoers, the REMEDIES team, Alchemia Nova and all partners who chose to reuse with us - see you again very soon! ✨
