Manifestation
A Two-Day Intensive in Body, Voice and Movement
by Nu Simakina
How do we begin to express ourselves?
How can we speak and act not only through words, but through presence, movement, voice, and our connection to ourselves and others?
Manifestation is a two-day intensive dedicated to exploring the body, voice, and performativity as tools for self-expression. Through movement, vocal practices, improvisation, and group work, we will develop a deeper connection with ourselves and learn how to bring that connection into action.
The main goal of the intensive is to create a safe and supportive environment where everyone can gradually find more freedom in expressing themselves — through movement, speech, silence, action, and presence.
During the intensive, we will:
— explore the relationship between body, voice, and inner states
— identify and work through physical and psychological blocks
— practice movement, breathing, sounding, and attention exercises
— engage with the basics of performative thinking
— create individual and collective performative expressions
The intensive will conclude with an open presentation where participants may share the outcomes of their work with an audience. Participation in the presentation is not required — but by the end of the course, you will most likely want to be part of it.
Schedule:
June 5 — 19:00–22:00
June 6 — 13:00–18:00
June 6 — 18:00–19:00 Final Presentation
Total duration: 9 hours
Fee:
8,000 RSD / 70 EUR for the full intensive
No previous experience is required.
Open to anyone interested in developing a deeper connection with themselves, their body, and new ways of engaging with the world through movement, presence, and creative practice.
