Seventh Art Encounters 2025: Art that Unites the World at the King Peter I House
This autumn, Belgrade will once again become the center of the international art scene — the Seventh Art Encounters 2025 will be ceremoniously opened on Monday, October 27, at 7 p.m. at the Cultural Center King Peter I House, located at Vase Pelagića 40, Gradska opština Savski venac Град Београд. The exhibition will run until November 11, 2025, and admission is free.
This prestigious event brings together 145 artists from 15 countries — Serbia, Italy, Poland, Greece, Turkey, Romania, Cyprus, South Korea, Australia, India, France, Spain, Cuba, Montenegro, and Russia. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of artistic expressions — from paintings and graphic works to contemporary art forms — created by professional artists, professors, students, and self-taught creators alike.
The guest of honor at this year’s Art Encounters is Professor Milica Stevanović, academic and faculty member of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, whose creative work and artistic contribution represent an important part of Serbia’s cultural landscape.
The selection committee for this year’s exhibition includes:

The exhibition will also feature the presentation of traditional awards:
🏆 Velizar Krstić Award – for outstanding achievement in fine arts
🎨 Stanka Todorović Award – for exceptional work in painting
📜 Certificate of Excellence – for remarkable artistic accomplishment
🌟 Grand Art Encounters Award – whose winner will become a member of next year’s selection committee
The Art Encounters continue their mission of connecting artists from different countries and generations, fostering diversity in artistic expression and dialogue through art. This event has become a recognizable meeting point for artists, critics, and art lovers, while also reaffirming Belgrade’s significant role on the international cultural map.
