Prošle godine započeta je rekonstrukcija jednog od središta beogradske kulture i umetnosti, Sava Centra.
Sava Centar je međunarodni kongresni, kulturni i poslovni centar namenjen različitim mogućnostima. Građen je od 1976. do 1979. godine, a glavni projektant i rukovodilac tima bio je arhitekta Stojan Maksimović.
Centar Sava predstavlja kompleks različitih građevina, od kojih je najvažniji kongresno-koncertni centar. Kaskadna forma građevine uklapa se u prirodni ambijent i doprinosi dinamičnoj strukturi kompleksa koji čine još poslovne zgrade i hotel. Kongresno-koncertni centar predstavlja razudjenu strukturu sagrađenu u stilu haj-tek arhitekture 70-tih godina 20. veka. Arhitektonsko zdanje od čelika i stakla koje nose armirano-betonski nosači, predstavlja jedan od najlepših primera ovog stila postmoderne arhitekture.Konstruktivni i instalacioni elementi, osim svoje utilitarne uloge, imaju i dekorativnu namenu koja je naročito vidljiva u enterijeru.

The Sava Center is a complex of various buildings, the most important of which is the congress and concert center. The cascading form of the building fits into the natural environment and contributes to the dynamic structure of the complex, which also includes office buildings and a hotel. The congress and concert center is a sprawling structure built in the style of high-tech architecture in the 70s of the 20th century. The architectural building made of steel and glass supported by reinforced concrete supports is one of the most beautiful examples of this style of postmodern architecture.
