📣Poštovane koleginice i kolege, drage prijateljice i prijatelji Bitefa,
Obraćamo vam se u ime tima Bitef teatra sa željom da ukažemo na činjenicu da, nakon 58 godina postojanja, festival Bitef neće biti realizovan.
Bitef, međutim, nikada nije bio samo festival – Bitef su ljudi, umetnici, publika, istorija i zajednica.
U ovom trenutku, osećamo da je naša dužnost da odbranimo boje Bitefa – slobodu umetničkog izraza, kritičko mišljenje, integritet, zajedništvo.
Tim povodom upućujemo:
Poziv pozorištima, umetnicima i kolektivima u zemlji i svetu
🎭 Pozivamo vas da u svojim gradovima, na scenama, u nezavisnim prostorima, na ulicama i trgovima organizujete omaž Bitefu u formi koja je vama bliska i moguća. To mogu biti:
• reprize predstava koje su igrale na Bitefu,
• performansi, instalacije i akcije u javnom prostoru,
• umetničke intervencije pre početka, posle završetka ili tokom izvođenja predstave,
• isticanje vizuelnih znakova ili simbola posvećenih Bitefu,
• kratke objave ili posvete u programima i na društvenim mrežama.
Vaš angažman ne mora biti vezan za scenu – dovoljan je i gest, znak, reč, fotografija.
Kako mogu da se uključe i svi koji nisu pozorišni radnici i radnice?
Želeli bismo da se u ovu akciju uključe i ljudi koji Bitef godinama stvaraju, podržavaju, prate i vole.
Pozivamo publiku, prijatelje i sve kojima je Bitef važan da doprinesu na način koji im je moguć:
• objavljivanjem fotografija, sećanja i anegdota sa Bitefa,
• pisanjem / snimanjem kratkih poruka podrške (u trajanju do 90 sekundi),
• deljenjem vizuelnih znakova ili simbola posvećenih Bitefu (plave Bitef lopte, zvezde i drugih simbola).
Svaki čin, ma kako mali, deo je šire slike solidarnosti i podrške.
Molimo vas da sve akcije i objave delite uz haštag:

📣 Dear colleagues, friends, and supporters of Bitef,
We address you on behalf of the Bitef Theatre team to draw attention to the fact that, after 58 years of existence, the Bitef Festival will not take place.
However, Bitef has never been just a festival – Bitef is people, artists, audiences, history, and a community.
In this moment, we feel it is our responsibility to defend the colours of Bitef – artistic freedom, critical thinking, integrity, and solidarity.
For this reason, we extend the following:
🎭 A Call to Theatres, Artists, and Collectives in Serbia and around the world
We invite you to organize an homage to Bitef in your cities, on your stages, and in independent spaces, in whichever form is most organic and possible for you.
That may include:
• another performance that had been (previously) shown at Bitef,
• performances, installations, and actions in public space,
• artistic interventions before, after, or during performances,
• displaying visual signs or symbols dedicated to Bitef,
• short notes or dedications in programs or on social media.
Your contribution does not need to be related to the stage – a gesture, a sign, a word, or a photograph is enough.
How can non-theatre workers join?
We would like to include everyone who has created, supported, followed, and loved Bitef over the years.
We invite audiences, friends, and all those for whom Bitef matters to contribute in any way they can:
• by sharing photographs, memories, and anecdotes from Bitef,
• by writing or recording short messages of support (up to 90 seconds),
• by sharing visual symbols dedicated to Bitef (the blue Bitef globe, stars, and other motifs).
Every act, no matter how small, is part of a broader picture of solidarity and support.
