Die von uns publizierten Bücher werden nicht ausschließlich über klassische Buchhandelskanäle vertrieben, sondern gezielt in Alltags- und Begegnungsräumen platziert: in Supermärkten ebenso wie in den Praxen von Ärztinnen und Ärzten, Notaren und Rechtsanwälten, darüber hinaus in Geschäftslokalen wie Hotels, Friseursalons und vergleichbaren Einrichtungen.
Auf diese Weise erreichen die Publikationen Menschen außerhalb des traditionellen Literaturbetriebs. Das Angebot erscheint konsequent mehrsprachig in spanischer, englischer und deutscher Sprache und trägt so der kulturellen und sprachlichen Vielfalt eines internationalen Publikums Rechnung.

Los libros que publicamos no se distribuyen exclusivamente en librerías tradicionales, sino que se colocan estratégicamente en espacios cotidianos y lugares de encuentro: supermercados, consultorios médicos, notarios y abogados, así como en establecimientos comerciales como hoteles, peluquerías y similares.

De esta manera, nuestras publicaciones llegan a personas fuera del panorama literario tradicional. Nuestro catálogo es consistentemente multilingüe, disponible en español, inglés y alemán, lo que refleja la diversidad cultural y lingüística de un público internacional.

The books we publish are not exclusively distributed through traditional bookstores, but are strategically placed in everyday spaces and meeting places: in supermarkets as well as in the offices of doctors, notaries, and lawyers, and also in commercial establishments such as hotels, hair salons, and similar venues.

In this way, our publications reach people outside the traditional literary scene. Our catalog is consistently multilingual, appearing in Spanish, English, and German, thus reflecting the cultural and linguistic diversity of an international audience.

📖🍱 The history of our publishing house: Its origins trace back to Maria Leal de Noguera (1892-1989). Donna Maria was a writer, founder of several private schools in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, and is considered a mother figure in Costa Rican adult education. She was particularly committed to making reading accessible to all citizens, to which she founded the province's first library on the Pacific coast in 1928. This was followed in 1932 by the establishment of a publishing house, which, after her death, passed to a Dutch couple and finally, in 2006, to Kattia Watson Carazo, the niece of the Costa Rican president of the same name. Adult education remains our central focus, especially entertaining works with an integral, holistic approach.📚

📖🍱 La historia de nuestra editorial: Sus orígenes se remontan a María Leal de Noguera (1892-1989). Doña María fue escritora, fundadora de varias escuelas privadas en Guanacaste, Costa Rica, y es considerada una figura clave en la educación de adultos costarricenses. Su compromiso con la lectura fue fundamental, por lo que fundó la primera biblioteca de la provincia en la costa del Pacífico en 1928. En 1932, fundó una editorial que, tras su fallecimiento, pasó a manos de una pareja holandesa y, finalmente, en 2006, a manos de Kattia Watson Carazo, sobrina del presidente costarricense del mismo nombre. La educación de adultos sigue siendo nuestro enfoque principal, especialmente en obras de entretenimiento con un enfoque holístico.📚

📖🍱 Die Geschichte unseres Verlags: Die Ursprünge gehen auf Maria Leal de Noguera (1892-1989) zurück. Donna Maria war Schriftstellerin, Gründerin mehrerer Privatschulen in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, und gilt als Mutterfigur der Erwachsenenbildung Costa Ricas. Insbesondere das Lesen sollte allen Bürgern nähergebracht werden, wozu sie die erste Bibliothek der Provinz am Pazifik 1928 gründete. Es folgte 1932 ein Verlag, der nach ihren Ableben an ein niederländisches Ehepaar und letztlich 2006 an Kattia Watson Carazo, der Nichte des gleichnamigen Staatspräsidenten von Costa Rica überging. Die Erwachsenenbildung ist unser zentrales Anliegen geblieben, insbesondere unterhaltsame Werke mit integralem Bezug.📚
