Veinti4/Siete Galería es una galería de arte contemporáneo visible externamente 24 horas, 7 días a la semana. Ubicada tan sólo 125 metros al norte del Museo de Arte y Diseño Contemporáneo (MADC) en San José, Costa Rica, la galería funciona como vitrina del arte contemporáneo emergente y convertirse en un puente entre artistas centroamericanos y el mundo. as emergences y legitimados, además de colaborar con artistas, curadores y project spaces de arte internacionales. Durante sus dos primeros años, Veinti4/Siete Galería prevé en curar solamente exposiciones individuales de una gama de artistas cuyo obra explora la pintura, site-specific, nuevos medios, performance, fotografía e instalación. Veinti4/Siete basa su selección curatorial en un balance de 70% de artistas centroamericanos y el 30% de artistas fuera de la región. Dado nuestro origen y ubicación geográfica en esta periferia psicotrópical, la galería se compromete a representar y exhibir aquellos artistas que trabajan con temáticas innovadoras o de relevancia política para nuestra circunstancia humana dentro del contexto centroamericano.

Veinti4/Siete Galería is an experimental art gallery space that is visible 24 hours, 7 days a week. It is a window display and cultural hub focused on emerging Central American contemporary art and discourse. Based in downtown San José, Costa Rica, the gallery aims to serve as a link between Central American artists and the world. Founded in 2017, it will showcase both emerging and established Central American artists and aim to collaborate with international artists, curators and project spaces. During its first two years, Veinti4/Siete Galería plans on curating only Solo Shows of a wide array of artists whose work explore painting, new media, performance, photography and installation. Veinti4/Siete will base its curatorial selection on a balance of 70% Central American artists and 30% artists outside the region. Given our origin in this peripheral psycho-trop- ical region, the gallery is committed to successfully representing and externalizing those artists that are currently working with subject matter that is either innovative or of political relevance to our human circumstance within the Central American context.
