Austin is a melting pot of transplant persons/families, and sometimes those transplant persons/families make a profound impact for the greater advancement of the minorities in the city, while others dismantle. disassemble. destroy. demolish. (Yes I meant the periods) For their own personal advancement(s). The purpose of these honors is to highlight primarily native Austinites (Central Texas Person(s)) who are working effectively to make a difference in our communities and making them better in the most important areas.
