✉️ HE OPENED THE ENVELOPE THINKING IT WAS JUST A LETTER. INSIDE WAS ABOUT $2,000 FROM HIS STUDENTS
Herman Gordon arrived in the United Kingdom as part of the Windrush generation, the wave of Caribbean immigrants who helped rebuild the country after World War II.
For 12 years, he worked as a cleaning assistant at the University of Bristol library. ✉️

And the story became even more special. After hearing what happened, a luxury resort in Montego Bay reportedly offered Herman and his wife, Denise, two additional nights during their trip, which happened to coincide with their 23rd wedding anniversary.

🇨🇴👏 ¡COLOMBIA ABRE EL DEBATE SOBRE EL DOBLE INGRESO!

El Gobierno de Abelardo de la Espriella estaría evaluando una medida para evitar que personas ya pensionadas continúen recibiendo una pensión mientras, al mismo tiempo, ocupan cargos remunerados en el sector público.

La propuesta tendría como objetivos promover el relevo generacional, abrir espacio para nuevos trabajadores y reducir algunos costos del Estado.

Uno de los sectores que podría verse directamente involucrado es el educativo, especialmente docentes vinculados a FECODE que actualmente reciben pensión y permanecen activos laboralmente. Desde el Gobierno se habla de renovación generacional, mientras que los sindicatos expresan preocupación por el impacto que una medida de este tipo podría tener en las instituciones y la continuidad educativa.

Desde pequeños, los estudiantes aprenden que si utilizas un lugar, también tienes la responsabilidad de cuidarlo.

🧠 Esta práctica busca fortalecer valores como:

📌 Disciplina: cumplir con las tareas asignadas, incluso cuando no sean las más agradables.

📌 Responsabilidad: entender que mantener limpio un espacio compartido es tarea de todos.

🔥🇸🇻 BUKELE REAVIVA LA POLÉMICA: ¿UN MENOR DE 12 AÑOS PODRÍA SER CONDENADO A CADENA PERPETUA?

⚖️ Una reforma impulsada durante el Gobierno de Nayib Bukele ha desatado un intenso debate al contemplar p***s de prisión perpetua para adolescentes de entre 12 y 18 años en casos de delitos considerados extremadamente graves.

Entre los crímenes señalados están:

🔴 Terrorismo
🔴 Vinculación con pandillas
🔴 Otros delitos de especial gravedad

🔥 Quienes defienden la medida consideran que los delitos más graves deben tener consecuencias igualmente severas. También sostienen que las estructuras criminales han utilizado a menores para cometer delitos y que el Estado debe responder con firmeza.

🇸🇻 Esta postura forma parte del modelo de seguridad aplicado por Bukele, que ha recibido respaldo de algunos sectores, pero también fuertes cuestionamientos de organizaciones de derechos humanos.

🇦🇷💰 UNA RUPTURA, MILLONES EN DISPUTA Y UNA PREGUNTA QUE GENERÓ DEBATE

La separación de Alexis Mac Allister y Camila Mayan volvió a poner sobre la mesa una discusión que muchas parejas prefieren evitar: ¿qué ocurre económicamente cuando termina una relación larga en la que nunca hubo matrimonio?

🚨🇲🇽 ¿SE TERMINARÍA LA ERA DE LOS “DIPUTADOS INFLUENCERS”?
