Casa Museo Salsipuedes, a historic mansion and now art museum built by Colombian sculptor Jorge Marín Vieco in the 1930's, is one of the few "casa fincas" left in Medellín. You can stay in the beautiful Casa Museo Salsipuedes by renting a room on airbnb. We have five cozy guestrooms for 1-9 persons with comfortable beds, pleasant working spaces and private bathrooms. Guests will have access to all the gardens outside and common rooms within the house. These areas include a kitchenette, a pingpong table, a lovely place to birdwatch or study, and even a cheerful fireplace. Robledo La Pola is a quiet neighborhood that was once the area for the wealthy citizens of Medellín to have their country retreat homes (fincas). Now the city has grown up around it, and Salsipuedes is one of the few historic fincas left, an oasis of nature within the city. Every two or three days a family of Tití monkeys scampers through our trees. When there are bananas at our bird feeder consistently, they come to eat there, also.
