More than 30 Dallas-Fort Worth artists were invited to paint unique designs for the downtown district’s “Summer of Soccer” celebration.

Super cool to see 30+ art colleagues styles in these commissions. This works truly showcase Fort Worth art, these are the artist who live, work, and pay local taxes making a name for the city beyond the city. I really appreciate for hands on supporting artists with these kind of projects. I strongly suggest to come to downtown and read about the artists, learn about them, and follow their careers.

The 18th Annual "Hecho en Dallas" Exhibition brings together the largest roster of artists, performers, and community voices for a season that celebrates the energy, culture, and talent shaping the DFW metroplex. 🎨

Through the duration of the exhibition, the Latino Cultural Center will present a robust lineup of public programming including artist talks, guided tours, performances, and community-centered events designed to further engage audiences with the exhibition and the artists involved. This year, timing of the exhibition will occur when the city is expected to experience its highest tourism of the year, welcoming residents and visitors to experience the talent found in DFW. ⭐

SUPER ESPECIAL MOMENT. I have a screen printing series of flies, each one unique as they are finished with different glitter color pattern application . Each print is nameless until the owner names the fly(the artwork) withe the name of someone special to them. A “spirit” of sorts that they consider as a constant companion, an invisible (or possibly visible) witness. This specific print was purchased by Bill Barter’s daughter. Bill passed away last year, he was an amazing artist, art supporter, and a huge inspiration. She chose to name her fly after her dad. For me that was a sweet moment, and honor.
