Suriname toad

The most special frog in the world!
Suriname toad(Pipa p**a), similar in appearance to a mottled brown leaf, and is almost completely flat. Its feet are broadly webbed with the front toes having small, star-like appendages.
Suriname toads are best known for their remarkable reproductive habits.
They keep their eggs in the skin on the back, and their young will develop in her skin for several months, skipping the tadpole stage entirely.

The Malayan flying fox (Pteropus vampyrus), also known as the large flying fox,is a southeast Asian species of megabat in the family Pteropodidae.
Malayan flying fox is one of the largest bats.It weighs 0.65–1.1 kg and has a wingspan of up to 1.5 m.
This species primarily feeds on flowers, nectar and fruit. And They can fly up to 50 km to their feeding grounds within one night.

The Triceratops - Jackson’s chameleon.
The generic name, Trioceros, is derived from the Greek τρί- (tri-) meaning "three" and κέρας (kéras) meaning "horns". This is in reference to the three horns found on the heads of males.
There are three subspecies of Jackson’s chameleon ,and this is the smallest one (Trioceros jacksonii merumontanus).

Cave gecko (Goniurosaurus sp.) is an eublepharid gecko. This means they have eye lids similar to leopard or fat tailed geckos.
As their name suggests, they are found in humid and shady areas and in mountainous terrain or near caves.
They always come out for food and water after the night rain.

Spiny-tailed lizard(Uromastyx sp. )
Lizards in the genus Uromastyx are primarily herbivorous, but occasionally eat insects. They spend most of their waking hours basking in the sun, hiding in underground chambers at daytime.
The spiked tail is their weapon, it can be swung at an attacke, They also sleep in their burrows with their tails closest to the opening, in order to thwart intruders.

Lesser anteater/southern tamandua (Tamandua tetradactyla).
This post is in memory of a friend-大虎(DaHu), who left us in 2016, and this lesser anteater skeleton is now using for educational purpose.

Lesser anteater is a species of anteater from South America. It found in many habitats from mature to highly disturbed secondary forests and arid savannas.
It mainly feeds on ants and termites. Their strong fore claws can be used to break ant nests or use to defend itself.
