We are pleased to announce the official launch of PS Esports Racing Team this week!
PS Esports Racing is a brand new initiative, fuelled by the dream and vision to bring together various stakeholders from the esports industry, to create a Team that engages with the e-motorsports community through exciting original content, entering racing championships, and organizing headline events.
The new Team marks a new chapter for PS Esports, which has brought news coverage and insights to the esports community for many years, and still plays a unique role as one of the independent voices championing the local esports scene.
PS Esports Racing, in collaboration with a number of founding partners, technical partners, and experts in both sim-racing and karting, will be on a journey to e-motorsports excellence while staying at the forefront of digital entertainment. By being socially conscious and supportive of diversity and inclusion, the Team hopes to bring together fans of esports, Web3, and GameFi, providing them with inspirations, exciting opportunities, and product innovations.
“We are living in an exciting era, where Esports and E-motorsports specifically is increasingly being recognised by sporting organisations and regulating bodies around the world,” said Michael Chou, Team Principal, PS Esports Racing, “We are enthusiastic about launching the Team in Hong Kong, a city that has a deep talent pipeline in motorsport and is one of the earliest markets in Asia to develop a sim-racing community.”
“Working with our valued partners, we hope to connect with esports fans and the next generation of Web3 native audiences, making an impression through the Team's drive to be in front, whether we are on the track or online.”
For Season 2024-2025, the Team will be competing in a number of local, regional, and one-off races. The Team’s two star drivers, already well-accomplished at a very young age, will be driving in PS Esports Racing Blue and start fighting for a place on the podium very soon. More details about the Team’s drivers and partners will be unveiled on www.ps-esports-racing.com and on Facebook in the coming months.
