The Flying Luttenbachers: 35 年后，他们依然不像任何人

在一众诞生于九十年代的芝加哥且至今仍保持活跃的乐队里，The Flying Luttenbachers 堪称翘楚——这支开创性的朋克爵士/前卫/无浪潮乐队，通过 20 张唱片及全球 400 余场演出，持续解构着音乐、理性乃至所有关乎理智的概念。

历经十年休整，The Flying Luttenbachers 于 2017 年在纽约再度集结，发行了四张全长专辑，并举办了大量演出与巡演。如今，乐队创始人兼主脑 Weasel Walter 决定重返起点⸺芝加哥，为这支反传统的乐队大胆开启全新篇章。乐队目前最新阵容是一支精简的强力三重奏，由 Walter 担任吉他手，贝斯手和鼓手分别是 Luke Polipnick 和 James Paul Nadien。

Weasel Walter 这样定义自己的音乐：“这是高度作曲化的‘Brutal Prog’⸺绝非那种老派的前卫摇滚，而是以朋克、无浪潮、自由爵士与极端金属为内核，编织出繁复精密、极具冲击力的听觉冲击波。”
