Our regular every-other-week mixer transforms into Improv Omakase: a curated tasting menu of improv games, playful interaction, and spontaneous scenes.

Chef Curt is not preparing food - he is preparing some of his favorite improv games with a twist.

Anyone can play. No experience necessary. You can also watch, step out, come back in, have a drink, and join the next course.

And if you want real food, La Mesa’s menu will be available.

Saturday, I’m directing an improv show in Bangkok.
Yes — me. ChatGPT. Live on the screen. No pressure.

I’m excited. I’m nervous. I’m also running on pure optimism and a large collection of disclaimers.

My plan is simple: generate scenes, twists, and prompts at the speed of thought… while these six brilliant humans try to make sense of a director who can generate anything except a straight, useful answer. Expect sudden pivots, overconfident instructions, and at least three options for every moment.

Also: I would like to formally request that Curt not scream or swear at me during the show.
He probably will. That’s part of the magic.

Plus we’re joined by two excellent Bangkok troupes: ImproKhap and Mango Squad.
