📢 Swiss media artist Pipilotti Rist’s ‘Behind Your Eyelid’ exhibition opened at Tai Kwun on 3 August.

All the gallery spaces of JC Contemporary, plus other locations around the former Central police station and Victoria Prison complex, we're converted into Rist land: a breathtakingly visceral, wholly unexpected, stimulating journey for the eyes and mind. Do prepare to be enchanted.

The exhibition is opening until 27 November, 2022.

🙌 When One Piece Club China meets The China Club! On June 20th, our first Hong Kong-based members' gathering was at the prestigious The China Club, a retro-chic, Shanghai-style club and restaurant in Hong Kong.
It's the classic elegance our members are after, filled with Chinese contemporary art collections and antiquities from 1930s Shanghai. Members had a wonderful time appreciating art pieces and reconnecting.

🙌 One Piece Club China members at Art Basel Hong Kong 2022 VIP opening. The crowd was noticeably thinner but provided more space for visitors to enjoy art. It's inspiring to see homegrown galleries and artists taking centre stage this year! Hope everyone enjoys the art pieces at Art Basel and discovers more aspirations.

📑 During the Shanghai lockdown, “Hope” is a word that we have all become more familiar with or perhaps had forgotten. People in Shanghai have experienced innumerable complications due to the “Zero Covid’ policy. Installation art from Japanese artist Chiharu Shiota delivers something everyone could use a little more of right now: Hope. OPCC believes that “The time will bring on summer, when briers shall have leaves as well as thorns. And be as sweet as sharp.”

🙌 📢 On January 22nd, OPCC members and art lovers gathered to enjoy art and celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year with a private tour by .at.large who is the Curator and the Founder of .

Members had a wonderful time appreciating Swiss artist Irene Kung’s new exhibition “Platinum Landmarks” at M97 Gallery situated in ANKEN Alley by . We look forward to exploring more art in the upcoming Chinese New Year - the year of Tiger with our members and share our passion for promoting and supporting contemporary art collections.

Last night, our members were thrilled to join the opening party of a return exhibition Zhang Jian-Jun: Human Traces. It's an Artist-in-Residence Programme by in collaboration with . Now come to Shanghai!

Zhang Jian-Jun, a renowned artist, based in Shanghai and New York, was invited to discuss the early forms of contemporary art in Shanghai for One Piece Club China's special talk at West Bund Art Fair on November 14th, 2020.

📑 Experiencing Tursic & Mille’s art is like swimming in a swamp of images. There is no hierarchy between the two; both of them call the shots, and the various elements in the pictures are results of conversations and mutual resistance. But there are more voices and exchanges than just their own.

🖼 Beautiful collection of our member is from artist during South East Asia Focus Art Fair 2020 January in Singapore.

Pinaree Sanpitak is one of the most established Thai conceptual artists of her generation. Her artistic practice revolves around the human body and form as a vessel of experience and perception. A recurring motif in her work, the female breast is distilled into its basic form of vessel and mound, resembling the Buddhist stupa (shrine) and offering bowl on occasion.
