On August 13, overseas media representatives and foreign expats from , , South Korea, Sri Lanka, and visited the National Technology Innovation Center for Comprehensive Utilization of Saline-Alkali Land in City, east China's Province, during the "Strolling Through Dongying, Decoding Yellow River Culture" International Communication Event. The delegation toured scientific research platforms and experimental fields. They gained first-hand insight into how scientific and technological taps new potential for saline-alkali land in Dongying.
Located in the core of the Yellow River Delta, Dongying has large scale of saline-alkali land, making the improvement of such land highly significant. Dongying has integrated , , and biological measures to tackle key bottlenecks in coastal saline-alkali land upgrading. The city has also explored rapid biological improvement models, popularizing the practice of turning salt-tolerant rapeseed under the soil as green manure. After three consecutive years, soil organic matter content has risen by 29 percent, while soil salinity has dropped from 8‰ to below 3‰. High-efficiency water-saving technologies have been rolled out, and digital intelligence empowers water-saving management. Through multiple approaches, Dongying pursues coordinated development of production, featured industries, facility and ecological conservation.

On August 13, overseas media representatives and foreign expats from , , South Korea, Sri Lanka, and visited the Liaohe Community in City, east China's Shandong Province, during the "Strolling Through Dongying, Decoding Yellow River Culture" International Communication Event. They visited the intangible cultural heritage ( ) display and experienced traditional making in Liaohe Community, learning about the community-driven efforts to preserve and pass on ICH as well as enrich local residents' cultural life.
Dongying’s Liaohe Community administers 15 residential compounds with more than 14,770 permanent residents. In recent years, the community has integrated ICH inheritance into its cultural development. It has introduced multiple ICH items including Liu's cloth , Yang's wood carving and paper-cutting, and built an exhibition hall for Liu's cloth puppets. Venues are provided for ICH inheritors to deliver public courses, gradually developing a well-established model for ICH inheritance.
The Community also prioritizes ICH skill-training programs for the unemployed, disadvantaged groups, persons with disabilities and retirees. These programs help local residents expand avenues for flexible employment. Meanwhile, ICH handicraft courses are offered for teenagers.

Well Hua-8, located in Dongying, east China’s Shandong Province, is the first -producing well in the North China Plain and the well discovered by . In April 1961, its oil test yielded an industrial oil flow of 8.1 tons per day, officially opening a brand-new chapter for oil and gas exploration across North China. In 2021, Well Hua-8 was inscribed on the National Industrial Heritage Catalogue. Starting from Well Hua-8, several major oilfields were discovered one after another in North China, blazing an independent and vibrant path for China’s industry. As a precious cultural heritage, Well Hua-8 laid the foundation for China’s key petroleum industrial base and played a pivotal role in the economic and social development of the Delta.

In the sweltering summer of Qingdao, the production pace of humanoid robots outshines the heat. Stepping into the manufacture base of Guohua (Qingdao) Intelligent Co., Ltd., two rows of silver humanoid robots stand neatly in the general assembly workshop. Their robotic arms hang naturally, with metallic shells glistening, like a “steel formation” ready for deployment. Workers move among them, carrying out final and inspection.
