East China’s Shandong province is a major agricultural and grain-producing region in the country. In recent years, the province has made concerted efforts to stabilize the area sown with grain, maintaining a total annual grain output of over 110 billion jin (55 million metric tons) for five consecutive years.
In Dongyujia Village, Bianlin Town, Lingcheng District, Dezhou City, teams of agricultural technicians have arrived to assist with specific needs—such as managing farm , flood control and drainage, and clearing obstructions from field access roads—thereby safeguarding the grain . Integrated water and technology has been adopted in the fields. This system allows water and nutrients to pe*****te directly to the root zones, meeting the crops' needs at the right time and in the right quantities through sprinkler and drip irrigation. The application of these new technologies has boosted and yields, while also saving water, fertilizer, and labor.
