During the Eight years (1902-1909) of the "five out and five back" journey. Qi Baishi traveled across most of China, enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the motherland, got to know many famous scholars, and appreciated a large number of famous works. From then on, his horizon was greatly broadened. In 1910, Qi baishi returned to his hometown after a long journey. He repainted the landscape paintings he had obtained during his travels and compiled them into "borrow mountain pictures". There were 52 paintings in total. This set of "mountain map" album is drawn from the sketch of real landscape during the long journey. It is a real landscape work and reflects the simple expression of the image of Chinese painting.
