The studio's spectacular 3,000 sq.ft.

Designed and built by John Storyk and WSDG, the 35,000 square foot The Village Studios compound was built on a former factory site in Guangzhou, China, nearby the airport and train station. An ultra-modern recording complex with an on-site luxury hotel. live room can easily host sessions of over 90 musicians. It's soaring 23' high ceiling and superb (variable) acoustics are complimented by sweepin

g, panoramic glass walls which provide uninterrupted sightlines into and from the twin 800 sq.ft. control rooms. Control Room A:

Handsome and elegant. Control A features a meticulously restored vintage SSL9080K console, and superb monitoring by custom 15" Augspurger Mains. Ample space for producers, artists and guests to relax, during recording and playback sessions was a prerequisite. To compliment their generous 640 sq.ft. isolation booths, Control Rooms A (and B) also feature more intimate, 230 sq.ft. ISO booths. Both control rooms share a unique collection of inboard and outboard gears which includes: ProTools, Lynx Aurora, Studer, Prism SOund, Apogee, Lexicon, TC Electronics, Eventride, Mercury, GML, Manley, API, Empirical and Crane Song etc. From leather couches to infinitely variable lighting, high comfort level options underscore Hin's concerns for a totally flexible recording environment. Control Room B:

Spacious and luxurious as its sister control room, B is distinguished by a classic Neve VR72, and 15" Dynaudio Acoustics custom Munro M6 mains. These distinctive console and speaker options insure clients of 'best of both worlds' recording alternatives. Beyond its prized gear package B also shares a world-class mic collection with A. Highlights include: Beyer, Neumann, Royer, Telefunken, Sony, DPA, Schoeps, Sennheiser and Shure etc. Other studio amenities include Steinway 9' D274, Yamaha C7, two Hammond B3 organs and Fender Rhodes electric pianos.
