北京的夏天正式结束之前，摄影笔特推出“北京光芒”鸡尾酒，邀请你来我们的天台喝一杯。

Before summer in Beijing is officially over,Camera Stylo invites you to its Beijing Lights cocktail launch party this Saturday night!

这个名字取自黄陈匡发表在Spitttoon双语文学网站上的同名人物采访系列“北京光芒”，我们的微信公众号之前也转载了部分文章。

We named the cocktail after HuangChenkuang’s bilingual Beijing Lights interviews, which are published on Spittoon monthly. We also have reposted some of the articles on our WeChat account.

专栏迄今收录了16位受访者的故事，文章的主角是这些最容易被忽视的人群，有公园门外出摊的剃头匠，每天生活两点一线的盲人按摩师，一天抽五包便宜大烟的胡同保安，凌晨两点就起床开始忙碌的菜贩子，一个月才出一次门的独居退休老兵，从早9点工作到晚12点的餐厅服务员……

The project has so far collected 16 stories, each providing a succinct and poignant glimpse into the life of themany faces whose voice usually go unnoticed: a blind massage therapist, an old barber in the park, a security guard who smokes five packs a day, a vegetable seller, a solitary veteran, a young woman working in a wonton restaurant……

这些鲜被聆听的声音，缓缓道来他们的喜怒哀乐，呈现芸芸众生为生活努力奔波的疲惫身影，同时也透出苦难里的诗意和平淡生活里不灭的光芒。

In first-person narrative, the stories present each individual’s struggles in their own way, but also offer rays of light that always find a way to shine through despite all the difficulties in life.

这周六晚上，在推出“北京光芒”特调的同时，我们也邀请到该栏目创始人匡与另一位文学爱好者，Supchina的主编Anthony Tao对谈，与大家分享她的灵感来源，采访过程中的趣事，怎样让陌生人敞开心扉分享一些向家人都难以开口的困惑，以及这些受访者怎样教会她以不一样的角度看待生活。

This Saturday night, as part of our cocktail launch party, we have the great pleasure to invite Kuang, the creator of Beijing Lights, joined by Anthony Tao, managing editor of Supchina and a poetry host, to sit down to discuss what initially drew Kuang to this subject matter, how she got complete strangers to open up to her, and what she has learned whilst exploring the real and compelling stories of Beijing residents.
