SPAM PROJECT is a curatorial research project by Tu Lang. It will combining experimentation with the public space and image through different art practices.SPAM PROJECT will occupy the small tin can space with window-front and door around Beijing’s Baitasi Hutongs for the coming weeks. Video and photography will be displayed, like radio waves sending desires and fears from the earth to the deep
space. Like the shadow of a dream, ruthless private gazing and exposure to reality will be synthesized in the windows. The space will function as a production base, where copying, pirating, repeating, reproducing, representing, redisplaying, rebroadcasting, recording, reshooting, rewinding, revenging takes place again and again. Spam project will become a 'perfect' defective cinema, a 'perfect' poor image consumer, an elegy of the screen. In our age, the hero is dead. What we see in the window is our own shadow, its scenery will become fiction.SPAM PROJECT is an exhibitions and screening project occupying ii space at Gongmenkou Dongcha for three months. 午餐肉罐頭是由藝術家涂朗策劃的一個研究項目，將以實驗的方式進行一系列的展覽和公共空間藝術實踐。SPAM PROJECT 將佔領位於北京白塔寺的一間有窗戶有門的小罐頭空間。在這裡影像和圖像將被展示，像是無線電波從地球發向深空的慾望和恐懼，夢想與殘酷的影子將在窗口裡被合成，私密的凝視在現實中被曝光。這是一個生產基地，當拷貝，複製，盜版，再現，再生產，再直播，在組裝，再錄製，再重置，再循環，再拍攝在這裡不斷重演時，SPAM PROJECT 將成為一個瑕疵品的'完美'影院，差圖像的'完美'消費者，一首熒幕的悲歌。就像這個時代，英雄已死，我們在窗口瞥見的是找尋自己的影子，風景將成為故事。午餐肉罐頭項目將以展覽和放映等形式佔領ii space 白塔寺宮門口東岔的空間進行展示，這將是今個夏天持續三個月的項目，感謝I:project space和ii space 的鼎力支持。
