Helen O’Grady is one of the world's most popular children's English drama programs. The program was founded in 1979 in Australia, the current global headquarters are set up in London, in the UK, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Japan, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan along with other countries and regions, totaling of 32 regions, 1500 branches and student attendance of more than 600 000. HOG foreign teachers are chosen by the HOG global teacher selection, and through the Helen O’Grady drama professional system of teaching skills training. HOG teacher team possesses high comprehensive artistic accomplishments, art, drama, education background. Teachers have Master and/or Bachelor's degree and internationally recognized English teaching general certificate TESOL/TEFL. Teachers with TEFL/TESOL, Drama arts bachelor's degree, and/or Bachelor of Arts degree in drama go through strict training, levels of selection, appraisal, and through testing of all the subjects and index and receive coaching qualifications. Headquarters select excellent teachers and assign them to 27 countries around the world to teach. By implementing an appraisal system with regular assessments HOG guarantees teachers to have highest qualification for teaching.
