“I always never liked school while growing up” – Tems.

I was going to school because someone was paying my school fees, I had to make them proud by doing in passing my exams and getting my certified with good grades.

I just wanted to get the certificate to show that I went to school, I never liked it. It was all about doing music for me. I just wanted to get the certificate and hand them to my school sponsors and show them that I have gone to school, so they can leave me alone to do my music.

I just wanted to do music, if I had a choice of not going to school I would have done it, so I could concentrate on making music.
